Wealth, an often desired asset eluding most yet being captured by few. Its beauty is that of rare pearls and fine gold. Its prize is one to be discovered in a complex mix of dexterity, drive and determination. Marked by highs and lows, failures and passes. Joy and pain. Its our right to have it. Be careful though, it may consume you.
Without a plan we cannot achieve it. Without a goal, we spend our lives running around the field chasing nothing. If we want our goal, we must reach for it. I ask you this. If wealth is part of our livelihood, seeing as though we were born with dominion over this earth given to us by The Almighty Himself-Jehovah-why does it not match up to our current state? Its not that hard though. As Aristotle put it, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
As Jimmy Cliff put it "We can get it if we really want it". Its there. Its in our reach. Some say its bad to desire wealth, while others have another say on the matter. Whatever it is, there's just something about learning from the past and growing, doing better with one's life and achieving more that's simply...attractive. That my friends is wealth.
The journey of wealth though seen as monetary can be spun into several different ways. Not only can it be achieved fiscally but physically as well. This is not for the weak, slow or the squeamish. Its for the brave, the proud and the few. More than the marines, its the force that drives us to be who we are created to be. Our path. Our future. Our destiny is locked away in purpose.
It will not elude us. The steps are long. The road is rough. But we can make it. *scratch that* We WILL make it.
With that said, I start my journey to wealth, whichever form it takes. Growing in my faith, growing in my bank and growing in my strength.
